Bio
Armen orchestrates an exciting fusion of world textures and contemporary jazz influences.

I'll keep this very informal for you:

I was born in Los Angeles, grew up listening to rock, jazz, classical, Armenian and Arabic music. I've played in many bands. I went on to become a member of the Grammy-Award winning band SHADOWFAX, was nominated for a Grammy, appeared on Buddha-Bar and Buddha-Bar IV (...and still waiting to get paid my royalties from those bastards!), toured with Cirque du Soleil's SALTIMBANCO. Whew! What a ride it's been!!

Somewhere in between all of this I released my solo CDs, "Ceremonies" and "Caravans." I even held an auction on eBay selling my soul to the highest bidder so I can raise money to release "Caravans." You can read more about it on my site http://armen.tv as well as seeing a more formal bio.

I'd love for you to check out my music as it is something that I released to the world in hopes that it gives you the same good vibes and healing that it gave while creating it for you!

Both titles are released on my own label, TruArt Records. I also have a blog at http://armenblog.com where you can follow my ongoing wacky adventures.

Happy listening! :-)

Beautiful, I love the change into a more dancy stylein the first minute of gypsy rain. great drums and guitar, have you heard of gotan project? your music reminds me a bit of theirs. distant lands takes the breath away with that intro, great production and professional sounds, skipped through a few others, ceremonies is again very beautiful flutes, hauntingly almost, enchantress sounded a little robin hoody, Love the drums in all of them, all your music is very organic, keep it up!!@!@ gj
